Introduction 

The emotional development of children relies on the relationship of the children with their carer or carers.
The basis of the children’s emotional development is feeling:

·       Cared for
·       Safe
·       Supported

Under the above circumstances, children can learn how to love, control their feelings, show empathy, build strong relationships and care for themselves and other people.
