Introduction

Round brackets, otherwise known as parentheses, are most commonly used in everyday text. Brackets are punctuation marks used within a sentence to include information that is not essential to the main point.  Information within parentheses is usually ‘extra’ to the sentence; if it were removed, the sentence would still make perfectly good sense.

  2. Basic regular plurals
  3. Basic rules for apostophes
  4. Basic rules for irregular plurals
