Workforce Quality Enhancement for Ministry of Public Health

Project Overview:

This project aims to improve the quality of employees within the Syrian Ministry of Public Health by leveraging international expertise. A team of experts based abroad (referred to as Global Experts) will provide structured support and guidance to local teams in Syria. The project will involve task assignment, progress tracking, and skill development, ensuring effective collaboration between the international experts and the local teams.

Objectives:

Enhance Workforce Competency – Improve the skills and capabilities of employees in the Ministry of Public Health through structured guidance and mentorship.

Establish a Task Management System – Implement a structured system where Global Experts can assign, monitor, and evaluate tasks given to the local teams.

Facilitate Effective Collaboration – Ensure seamless communication and knowledge-sharing between Global Experts and local team members.

Monitor Progress & Evaluate Impact – Track task completion, assess performance, and measure improvements over time.

Project Structure:

1. Teams & Roles:

Global Experts (Based Abroad): Provide strategic direction, set objectives, assign tasks, and evaluate progress.

Local Teams (Syria – Ministry of Public Health): Execute assigned tasks, participate in training, and apply improvements in their work.

Two Local Teams (5 Experts Each):

Team A – Focus on administrative efficiency and policy implementation.

Team B – Focus on medical practice improvements and healthcare delivery.

2. Task Assignment & Execution:

Global Experts will define specific tasks and assign them to the respective teams.

Tasks will include:

Conducting training workshops.

Implementing new healthcare procedures.

Developing quality assessment reports.

Enhancing administrative workflows.

Each task will have a deadline, priority level, and required deliverables.

Local teams will complete tasks and submit progress reports for evaluation.

3. Monitoring & Reporting:

Regular check-ins will be scheduled between Global Experts and local teams.

Progress tracking dashboards will be used to monitor task completion.

Performance metrics will be assessed to ensure skill improvement.

Feedback loops will be established for continuous improvement.

4. Communication & Support:

Online collaboration tools will be used for discussions and updates.

Periodic virtual meetings will be held to address challenges and provide feedback.

A structured support system will be available to assist local teams in task execution.
