Synonyms and antonyms

Introduction

A synonym is a word, or phrase that means exactly or nearly the same as another word, morpheme, or phrase in a given language. 

Antonyms are word pairs whose meanings are opposite but whose meanings do not lie on a continuous spectrum (push, pull).
